HomageCollage: DMX, “And Then There Was X”

🔊💜Today, December 21, 1999, DMX released his third studio album, “…And Then There Was X.” This album peaked at no. 1 on the US Billboard 200, and spawned three singles: ‘What’s My Name,’ ‘Party Up (Up In Here),’ and ‘What These Bitches Want.’ Two of those singles peaked on the Hot 100: ‘Party Up (Up In Here)’ (no. 27), and ‘What’s My Name’ (no. 67). At the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards, ‘Party Up (Up In Here)’ earned a nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance, and “…And Then There Was X” for Best Rap Album.
