🔊💜Today, December 28, 1999, Jay-Z released his fourth studio album, “Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter.” This album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. The song ‘Big Pimpin’ was also nominated for a Grammy, for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group. Song peaked at no. 1 on the US Billboard 200, and ‘Big Pimpin’ peaked at no. 18 on the Hot 100.
