The song comes from Mase’s debut studio album, “Harlem World.” ‘I Need to Be’ is a production by Deric “D-Dot” Angelettie; producer of ‘Hypnotize’ by The Notorious B.I.G., and ‘Been Around the World’ by Diddy, Biggie, and Mase.
