Music Birthday: Lupe Fiasco

🔊🥳Today, February 16, 1987, Lupe Fiasco was born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, in Chicago, Illinois. On March 7, 2011, Fiasco released his third studio album, “Lasers,” and by February 4, 2014, it was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. A hot track from “Lasers” is ‘All Black Everything,’ a production by The Buchannans that samples ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ by Jimmy Durante. Another hit on the album is ‘Beautiful Lasers (2 Ways)’ ft. MDMA. The song was produced by King David, and samples ‘Rebirth’ by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
