🔊🥳Today, March 10, 1963, Rick Rubin was born Frederick Jay Rubin in Lido Beach, New York. Rubin has produced several songs that landed on the US Hot 100, and one of those is Kanye West’s ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.’ The song reached no. 37 on April 22, 2016, and it’s included on West’s hip hop / gospel seventh studio album “The Life of Pablo.” Rubin has also been instrumental in the production of Run-D.M.C.’s ‘Peter Piper,’ Jay-Z’s ‘99 Problems,’ ‘Otherside’ by Red Hot Chili Peppers, ‘Hurt’ by Johnny Cash, ‘What I’ve Done’ by Linkin Park, and so many more.
