Music Birthday: Tamar Braxton

🔊🥳Today, March 17, 1977, Tamar Estine Braxton was born in Severn, Maryland. In 2015, Tamar sampled Rufus & Chaka Khan’s ‘I’m Dancing for Your Love’ in her song ‘Never.’ The latter comes from Braxton’s fourth studio album “Call All Lovers,” which reached the top 10 on the US Billboard 200. The song ‘Never’ was co-written and produced by Brian A. Morgan, previous Warner Bros. labelmate of Chanté Moore, and co-producer of Drake’s ‘9.’
