Today, October 18, 2013, Fifth Harmony released their debut extended play, “Better Together.” Executively produced by Julian Bunetta, this EP reached nos. 2 & 6 on the American iTunes Albums Chart, and the Billboard 200.
There are also dance remix, and acoustic versions of “Better Together,” both of which have seen chart success. “Better Together: The Remixes (EP)” reached no. 20 on the Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, and “Better Together – Acoustic – EP” reached no. 26 on iTunes.
Personally, I prefer the acoustic version of “Better Together,” because it flaunts the vocal sophistication and uniqueness of the refreshingly harmonious female pop group.
Harmony Samuels has played an instrumental role in the flourishing of Fifth Harmony, producing the title track to “Better Together,” and many more songs in the girl group’s repertoire. Harmony “H-Money” Samuels also produced for Fifth Harmony ‘Sauced Up,’ ‘I’m In Love With A Monster,’ and ‘Body Rock.’
On June 16, 2014, the EP’s lead single ‘Miss Movin’ On’ – a production by Mitch Allan and Jason Evigan – earned gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.
