Today, December 17, 2002, Tyrese released his third studio album, “I Wanna Go There.” This relationships album reached no. 16 on the US Billboard 200. His first album for J Records, “I Wanna Go There” was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on Valentine’s Day 2003. 

This sensual album’s lead single, ‘How You Gonna Act Like That’ was produced by The Underdogs (Harvey Mason Jr., and Damon Thomas); and it peaked at no. 7 on the Hot 100, while reaching no. 30 on the UK Official Singles chart.

On Apple Music, fan favorites are ‘How You Gonna Act Like That’ and ‘Signs of Love Makin’.’ The latter song is another production by The Underdogs, and it went on to reach no. 57 on the Hot 100. R. Kelly is featured on part two to ‘Signs of Love Makin,’ which is included on Tyrese’s “Alter Ego” double album.
